Scope and Content This is a view of C19 Ruthven farmhouse and steading with Abersky Farm at the bottom of picture. There are remains of a township around the farmhouse. Loch Ruthven is at the top of the photo and the knoll at left of picture may at one time have been a crannog. There is some evidence of settlement in this area.
