Scope and Content Fortrose Bay with Rosemarkie in the distance. Ness Gap archaeology assessment in 2006 found no points of interest in the area of new houses. Beyond, the building site is beginning for the later phase of housing, off Ness Road, the road to the former ferry at Chanonry. The other reference is to Woodbine Cottage.
