Scope and Content Nairn is a former burgh in the Highland Council area, and ancient fishing port and market town. The Moray Firth is in the background. The view is too distant to distinguish archaeological features apart from 19c Lochdhu house in the trees in the foreground. The railway line from Aberdeen crosses the foreground.
