Scope and Content This is a view of Boleskine, with the burial ground at middle right. Above it can be seen Boleskine House with its stables to the left. The burial ground was the site of the parish church before c. 1777 when it was replaced by the church at Druim an Teampuill (NH 50749 18255). Boleskine House was built in the 1760s as a hunting lodge and is most well known as the home of occultist Aleister Crowley. It was destroyed by fire in 2015.
