Scope and Content This view shows Loch Alvie. In the centre foreground is Alvie Church built in 1768 and rebuilt several times, and still in use. The Manse is to the left and burial ground to the right. Across the centre of the photo is the A9. A field system with clearance cairns is on the north shore of the loch.
