Scope and Content A longhouse of three compartments in the 1989 survey, and aligned ENE/WSW sits to the N of what was described in the 1989 survey as 'a massive stone wall which has created a lynchet 1.5m high. This wall is 2m wide and stands between 0.5 - 1m high.' Other, presumably earlier, more irregular drystone walls are evident on this photo defining a series of enclosures, some with broad rig s evident inside. Note that another rectangular structure appears to survive at c. NH 52227 63730 on a NE/SW alignment. It is not clear if the hut circle identified in 1989 at NH 5223 6838 still survives in the plantation at the bottom of this photo. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
