Scope and Content Square enclosure lying above c. 9 hut circles and the more rectangular structure at c. NH 52380 63192, possibly similar to 'pitcarnick-type' buildings. The enclosure c. 20m wide has no obvious entrances and appears to have a mound in the centre on both Bing and Pastmap aerial mapping, suggesting this might be a pictish-style barrow. This might explain the density of some of the 'hut' circles in this area, as possibly also barrows. Alternatively it is just an enclosure, such as a kailyard, related to the later field system lying to the NW. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
