Scope and Content A wide view with Ross County's football ground as the most obvious feature and the nearby parts of the town centre to the left and below, with several notable buildings are visible. Towards the top left Castle House (with copper roof) on the site of the demolished castle and further left a surviving tower from the castle which was modified to create a dovecot, Roman Catholic Church and Presbytery, Free Church and a number of significant 19th century houses. In the lower left is the Railway Station and below the football ground the former Sherriff Court, Police Station and Goal and to their right the two ranges of the Ross Memorial Hospital.
