Date 21/1/2009

Collection Papers of James Sloan Bone, landscape historian, Inverness, Highland, Scotland

Scope and Content This view shows the inner part of Munlochy Bay with Tullich Farm in the foreground. The east part of Munlochy village can just be seen on the right edge. Suddie quarry (also known as Roskill Quarry) recorded on the HC HER; ID MHG29398 but not on Canmore, is in the field beyond Tullich Farm. The A832 traverses the view and the embankment of the, as yet, unrecorded old Fortrose railway line can just be seen running parallel on the far side of the road. The former railway station at Munlochy (Canmore ID 107838), just out of the view on the right, is on the record. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
