Scope and Content This view shows on the left the Cromarty Firth and on the right the fertile farmlands of Cullicudden and Resolis in the north part of the Black Isle. The site of Cullicudden Church and its burial ground (Canmore ID 13680) can clearly be seen in the bottom right. St Michaels Church, Kirkmichael (Canmore ID 14486) is on the shore of Udale Bay some 6kms beyond. In days gone by several ferries operated across the firth to Alness and Invergordon from this shoreline - Alnessferry (Canmore ID 90261), Ferryton Point where there is a girnal/storehouse (Canmore ID 13644) and Balblair (Canmore ID 14495).
