Scope and Content This view shows the Business Park at Alness Point with the A9, the main road heading N and S, traversing the lower half. The Business Park was the location of an RAF Seaplane Base (Canmore ID 90512) during WW2 and a Memorial (Canmore ID 319335) to those who served there is nearby. The remains of an 18th century granary/storehouse (Canmore ID 13630) are seen near the water on the left edge of the view.
