Scope and Content This is a view of Invergordon which includes many sites associated with the two world wars. These include the site of the Cromlet Tank Farm, oil storage tanks, the Royal Naval Dockyard, the Royal Naval Hospital, accommodation blocks and officers' housing. There are also C19 houses, the distillery, the harbour with the east pier and the modern fabrication yard which includes a fish trap. To the right in the ploughed field is Invergordon Mains and Dalmore Pier can be seen in the distance to the north.
