Scope and Content Arisaig, Morar, looking E across Loch nan Ceall. A planned village built around 1800 of which 160 sites are catalogued on Canmore. In Arisaig village is St Maelrubha's Chapel, a 16th century ruin. A Neolithic incised stone found on the Rhu peninsula is held in the Land Sea and Island Centre in the village. A crannog, some remains of which still exist, was found during the draining of Loch nan Eala in 1856. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
