Scope and Content This view shows, in the foreground the town of Invergordon on the Cromarty Firth. Behind is the Royal Navy port fuel depot with 50+concrete and steel fuel tanks constructed in several stages between pre 1913 to the 1960s. There are many other associated buildings and accommodation blocks. To the right and behind is Invergordon distillery, founded in 1959.
