Scope and Content The view is centred on Nigg House, a laird's house built in 1702. The stable block is partially hidden in the trees to its R. The large house beyond the trees above Nigg House is the 1768 (circa) old parish manse. The farm buildings of Nigg Main are on the R. Lastly, the 17th century Nigg old parish church is upper left of Nigg House. It contains a fine Pictish cross slab.
