Scope and Content This late 16th century castle was the seat of the lairds of Premnay. Originally a tower house, a roomy, two-storeyed, L-plan wing was added to the east in the 18th century. The castle was restored c.1876. It is currently occupied. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
