Scope and Content This is a general view of Inverness showing the centre of the city with Dalneigh, Clachnaharry, Scorguie, Muirtown and Kinmylies. The Muirtown Basin and sea lock with associated Canal buildings at Clachnaharry can be seen at top right. To right of centre is the Castle with Porterfield Prison to its left. On the west side of the river is St. Andrew's Cathedral and Eden Court Theatre above which are the distinctive white buildings of Inverness High School. The white building at top left is Charleston Academy. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
