Scope and Content A collection of photographs by W D Kerr of graveyard monuments at Alloa Old Parish Church, Clackmannanshire, and Durisdeer Parish Church, Dumfriesshire.
Archive History No formal record of accession has yet been identified. However, the NMRS mounts used and the format of cataloguing would indicate that the photographs were acquired by RCAHMS in the late 1960s or early 1970s.

Administrative History W D Kerr, historian and photographer, active c.1937-48. A resident of Kilmarnock, Kerr was the author of 'Notes on the Local History of Stevenston and Saltcoats at the end of the 18th Century', Ayrshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, 1 (1947-9), 106-14.
