Scope and Content This image shows Stracathro Hospital and House looking across to Smiddyfield, the site of Stracathro Roman Fort and Camp in the middle distance. Stracathro Hospital is a community hospital, established as a wartime Emergency Hospital Service facility, then becoming a District General Hospital. Since 2005 it has been the site of the Scottish Regional Treatment Centre. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
