Scope and Content Top left shows the Iron Age fort on the summit of Dun Deardail, described as a small fortification in a spectacular position on a rocky ridge. Recent investigations have found no traces of vitrification. It is noted in the Atlas of Hill forts of Scotland. S of this fort, lower down the ridge, is another Iron age fort.
