Scope and Content The maker of this vertically placed Francis Turbine was Boving & Co Ltd, London (output 24000 BHP, Head 160 feet, speed 300 RPM, manufactured at Chesterfield, England 1932). A Francis Turbine is an inward flow reaction turbine and is one of the the most commonly used.
