Scope and Content Proncy Castle has the remains of a stone tower on an earlier motte. It was part of the lands granted to Gilbert of Moravia circa 1211. Above the motte, among the trees, there is a small quarry and a hut circle. The steading of Proncy Farm is just coming into view at bottom of picture.
