Scope and Content The substantial remains of part of Torseiller Township can be seen here on the S bank of the River Brora. Visible are two substantial longhouses (at NC 79125 10418 & NC 79102 10365) and at least 5 other rectangular structures and 10 enclosures. The field system is well preserved and has produced almost a system of lynchets from clearance in the field on the upper right. To the left of this and two rounded enclosures are a series of substantial stone clearance heaps. A probable corn-drying kiln survives at NC 79146 10377.
