Scope and Content A good view of Littleferry historic ferry crossing, once a busy ferry across the mouth of Loch Fleet. On the N side of the ferry crossing are a collection of historic buildings, clearly seen here, including a girnel, a WWII bunker, an icehouse, ferry buildings and cottages, as well as a smaller jetty and then the pier itself. The shore to the E of the northern ferry point contains Mesolithic shell middens. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
