Scope and Content Shoremill is a small community on the shores of the Cromarty Firth, to the SW of Cromarty. A settlement on this site is recorded in Blaeu, 1654. This view shows the shellfish farm just offshore and above it there are fish traps in the record. Allerton Farm is above the hamlet at top right.
