Scope and Content A wide view with the corner of the walled garden of Shinness Lodge just visible centre left. The footings of a former settlement are scattered over the rest of the image on either side of a former track which continues the line of the left hand edge of the denser woodland and continues up through the later field to the right of centre. In the area between the two woods is a longhouse and above and a little left an oval enclosure with an attached rectangular foundation on its lower left side. Above that is a snow covered rounded hillock and beyond that another rectangular foundation. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
