Scope and Content A general view over Cnoc Dubh with a number of roundhouses from a bronze or iron age settlement on the lower slopes of the hill just below the road. The most obvious three are to the left and above centre. Towards the top centre and left are two 19th or early 20th century farmsteads and in the fields below and left of them the footings of various earlier buildings.
