Scope and Content A close view of one of the fields of the former settlement of Ballynacairdach with dykes, clearance cairns and the footings of two buildings, which might have been rather small longhouses, one with an attached enclosure. At the top of the image, just right of centre, a circular stone feature could be a roundhouse. There are others just a few metres away to the north and east.
