Scope and Content A close view of part of the former township. Dominating the image are fields, cultivation ridges, consumption dykes and enclosures with the head dyke long the right hand side. To its right and above the kiln are the faint outlines of possible earlier enclosures and buildings can be seen and there is a suspiciously circular mound just right of the upper centre and below the straight ditch running across the image.
