Scope and Content Raigbeg is a deserted township to the east of Tomatin, on the banks of the Findhorn River. It was surveyed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society in 2013. The A9 was rerouted in the 1970s to bypass the village of Tomatin which can be seen in the top left hand side of picture. The Inverness-Perth railway line curves round at top of picture and crosses the river on the Findhorn Viaduct which was opened in 1897.
