Scope and Content Ballynacairdach includes a head dyke, rig and furrow, clearance cairns, and the footings of numerous rectangular buildings, with the township being described as post-medieval. A longhouse is visible in lower right sector of the image, with a smaller building and attached kailyard nearby. The cluster also includes a corn-drying kiln. A little further away are two stone-walled enclosures. A circular sheepfold is visible near the Allt an Tuirc in the upper right sector of the image.
