Scope and Content Dalcross industrial estate was developed alongside the airport which was built on the land of Wester and Mid Kerrowgair Farms, replacing the airfield at the Longman in Inverness as the airport for Inverness in 1947. There are several sites associated with WW2 within the boundaries of the airport but very little in the record for the area covered by the Industrial Estate.
