Scope and Content The buildings in the foreground - Inverness Precast Concrete and Grays Timber yard - have since been demolished as part of the new Inverness West Link road development. This included a road bridge over the river and canal seen here. A watching brief conducted 2012 –2013, recorded no finds or features of archaeological significance. The River Ness is to the right and on the nearside is the Holm Mills mill lade shown on the1st edition OS. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
