Scope and Content Croy lies between Inverness and Nairn. The new school is just above centre. There has been a school in Croy since 1872 and the present building replaced the original school in 1998. The original bell-tower was incorporated into the new building. The village hall (built 1907) and war memorial are in the open area just below centre.
