Scope and Content Bettyhill is a village on the north coast of Scotland at the mouth of the River Naver. It was established by the Countess of Sutherland to accommodate people cleared from Strathnaver, specifically the inhabitants of Rosal, and was named after her. The A836 loops round from the east at top of picture to the south at bottom right. The Bettyhill Hotel is situated at the bend in the road at bottom of picture.
