Scope and Content This extensive view shows the junction of the Cromarty Firth, at the Nigg, with the Moray Firth. The Nigg construction works are on the promontory in the centre, with Cromarty at the tip of the Black Isle across the water. The Balnagowan River is bottom centre. There is a large fish trap in the firth to the R of the River. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
