Scope and Content A general view of the lower reaches of the burn with a long cairn just right of centre. Below its narrower left hand end there is a roundhouse and small round cairn. Toward the top of the picture and left of centre a second long cairn is partially hidden by heather. Longhouse foundations and other features across the grass and bracken covered fields are the remains of the deserted settlement of Lower Caen.
