Scope and Content The area between the B864 (exiting top centre) and A839 (exiting lower right) contains features including stone cairns and 2 hut circles, all within a Neolithic to Late Iron Age cairnfield, bordering on The Cashel hut circle and field system. At lower right is the SE end of The Ord, an extensive Scheduled Monument comprising chambered cairns, cairns, settlements and field systems, including numerous hut circles. In this image (lower right foreground) the southern part of a large enclosure with turf and stone enclosure bank is visible, with its southern edge cut into by the A839 road. Lynchets or rig and furrow are visible in the upper part of the image. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
