Scope and Content The airstrip is in the foreground and the N Sea beyond. It was selected as a Satellite Landing Ground and closed in 1945. It reopened in 1967 for a few years for Loganair flights, and then closed as uneconomic in 1967. It is occasionally used by light aircraft. To the left is The Royal Dornoch Struie Golf Course.
