Scope and Content Kinkell Castle is a late C16 tower house and was the property of the Mackenzies of Gairloch. It was subsequently used as a farmhouse before being abandoned. It was restored in 1969 as a domestic dwelling. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
