Scope and Content The A9 crosses the top of the photo. Sir Walter Scott drive, part of the Southern Distributor Road, is centre left. To the right is Inshes retail park. On the area under development, there were linear features, a pit, post holes and a round house. There were pits to the left of the large roundabout. In the green square area beside the Police Headquarters (the black building, centre L) possible Neolithic flints and pottery were found. Beyond the roundabout above this, at top L, is Beechwood Business Park, home of Inverness Medical (2020). Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
