Scope and Content This view shows the Skye Bridge (Canmore ID 89241) which was constructed in 1995, and the village of Kyleakin (Canmore ID 99313) on the Isle of Skye, Ross-shire. On a rocky knoll to the left of the village stands the ruin of the three-storey 15th century tower house Caisteal Maol (Canmore ID 11663) commanding the Kyle Akin. The former ferry slipway (Canmore ID 11665) is also to the left of the village. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
