Scope and Content Inverness Royal Academy is in the centre, it has a long history going back to 13c. It moved to this site in Culduthel Road in 1977. Culduthel House, the white building among the houses below centre, not to be confused with the Highland Orphanage, was part of Culduthel Hospital. At the top of the photo the A8082 southern distributer road is under construction. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
