Scope and Content A more distant view. Burg or Borge broch Langwell is in the centre. It is a possible Iron age Broch and was excavated in 1910 when a length of intermural gallery was exposed. Clustered around are the remains of several turf and boulder buildings. There are enclosures clearance cairns and rig and furrow.
