Scope and Content A wide general view with the former Isle of Skye Airstrip between the A 87 and the Inner Sound to the R of the photo. Just beyond the far end of the airstrip is Cill Ashik, an early medieval church site where a cross slab has been found. To its left and higher up the cottages of the crofting townships of upper and lower Breakish spread along the main road and the shore line. Beyond them a chambered cairn survives in the outskirts of Broadford. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
