Scope and Content This is the site of a Pictish cemetery near Tarradale House on the Black Isle. Cropmarks indicating square and round barrows could be seen in aerial photographs and it was excavated in 2019. Excavation uncovered a variety of enclosures, some of which may be earlier in date. The line of the mediaeval road can be seen running from left to right and there is evidence of a settlement towards bottom right of picture.
