Scope and Content Achiltibuie is a linear village on the coast of Wester Ross. There is evidence of historic settlement in this area and the broch at An Dunain, on the piece of land that juts into the sea at centre. Offshore is Tanera Mor, the largest island in the Summer Isles, a group of c20 islands, rocks and skerries in the mouth of Loch Broom. On Tanera Mor are the remains of a fishing station, which was established in 1785. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
