Scope and Content This is a general view of Inverness. Part of the Longman Industrial Estate is on the lower left of picture and South Kessock, Dalneigh and the Bught are on the right. To the left of the river, the built up area stretches away to the housing estates on the southern edges of the city. The site cleared for phase 2 of the Eastgate Centre is at centre left and Clachnacuddin Football Club's ground is to the right of bottom centre. Clachnacuddin was one of Inverness' three football clubs, but declined to amalgamate with the others when Inverness Caledonian Thistle was established in 1994. Tomnahurich which was laid out as a cemetery in 1863 is at right centre. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
