Scope and Content A general view with Muirtown Canal basin just below centre. Following the Caledonian Canal upwards to the left is the Clachnaharry Sea Lock. The Muirtown Locks are below the basin with the swing bridge in between. Across the bridge to the right and below is a former distillery site and above that across the bridge is the site of a WW1 Submarine Mine Depot.
