Scope and Content A general view of Skibo castle, a country house built by Andrew Carnegie c. 1900 on the site of a medieval and later Bishop's Palace. In front and to the right of the castle are the terraced gardens. In the lower left, by the shore, is a complex of buildings comprising garages, stables and staff housing with the swimming pool partially visible to its right. In the upper right parts of the Home Farm steading are visible. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
